Hi All
I just broke the temporary lexan windscreen. Where does one order a laminated glass to replace it?

My laminated broke weekend before last. I'm going with Hercdver's recommendation and going with tempered.

Here's a link to a previous long discussion on the subject. I used tempered on the Gentry and it is used to assist getting in and out of the boat (so far)

I used tempered glass, cost $45 per side at a local glass shop. I followed lots of builders experience and advice on material to use, nobody has had tempered break (yet).

I used tempered and ordered it online from here

You can send them a pattern and they will match it. Make notes on edges that need to be pencil polished.

Is pencil polishing that rounded over frosted look on safety glass?

John

I'm in the tempered glass camp. Laminated if fine, if your glass is fully framed. With a free edge, you need tempered. I got this from Butch Barto! He is/was in the glass business for many years.
