I need some expert advice here. I have someone looking for this size c enter console for twin outboards. Is it feasible to reconfigure the transom for twin outboards up to the 450SHP level? I guess I'm talking about more thickness and athwartship braces and maybe motor brackets. This would be for offshore fishing.

Looks like it's designed for an inboard to be mounted under the control console. If you hung outboards on the transom instead you'd be moving over 1000 lbs aft of the transom. That would really change the CG. You did say you needed an expert and that's not me so perhaps someone else will weigh in.

I'm blaming this on senility. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
