Noyo Trawler questions

Post by Jsin » Mon Sep 04, 2017 5:16 pm

Good afternoon guys. I'm currently in search of a smallish trawler for fishing the Chesapeak bay area as well as a bit offshore of VA. Just wondering if the Noyo would be a good candidate for this or if any one here has built one close in size (max 30') to this boat. I'd like the option to be able to trailer it.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Jsin

Looks like that's what it was designed for to me. I'm not aware of a forum member that has built one. There are several in the photographs sections so it is a proven design. At 8' beam it is trailerable although you'll need a hefty tow vehicle.

I think the Noyo fits the bill. Not real fast. But, you'll probably chicken out well before the boat does.
