Bill,

Curious where you got that acronym from. I am a member of an online handtool woodworking community where that acronym is used quite often. Carl

Carl

I got it from a southern comedian about 15 years ago. He died and I can't remember his name right now. But, it is much older than that. I googled it, it's pretty old.

Look great Neel.

My build is downstairs. The sound of sanding seems to somehow find its way upstairs. I tell my spouse that its wouldn't be as loud if she wore ear protection.   Then I come upstairs looking like PigPen from the Peanuts cartoon and I think maybe I still need the ear protection. I blow the dust off which helps a little. Working out in the wind sound better.

I wonder if Roberta hears the "sawdust lecture" from Rich??? If not, we may be on to something here !!!

Carl.... Now that you have your Gentry plans, you too can produce large quantities of sawdust. Enjoy your build. We will all be following your progress.

I haven't been kicking up too much dust lately. I think Rich has adopted cleaning up after me as a hobby.

I finished up the transom this weekend so the first layer of 6mm Okoume planking is on. Next comes the fairing process before the second layer goes on. Each layer should be as fair as possible. This process will pay off later when the mahogany planking finally goes on.

Looking good Neel. Oh, by the way are you going for more plywood any time soon?

Thanks Bryan.... I still have some plywood left to start the next layer and we leave for Florida in about 4 weeks. So I may wait till March to restock on plywood. But if I go, I will let you know. What will you need?

Right now all I think I need are 2 sheets of 1/8. I think I have plenty of other work to do before I need it.

I hooked the dolly up to my tractor and pulled it outside for sanding. Mrs. "T" is quite happy with this !!

Boom Bang, just like that you’ve got yourself another curvy boat.
