Thanks for the kind comments everyone.... I really don't think it will be ready for G-14 Ken. Possibly G-15. My goal is to finish it before Carl finishes his Vera Cruise. Maybe Carl and I will both be taking our recently completed boats to G-15.

Hmmm. Guess I better try harder! It just seems that every time I turn around I find more things to add to my punch lists! :D :D :D

I started back up on the PB after the Gathering and then my wife and I beat feet for Florida for the month of October. I will be back in PA by Monday and back to work with the plywood cold molding on the sides. I will post some pictures late next week. We will be in PA for November and December and then back to Florida for January and February. I love the warm weather here, but miss my hobby !! I do have my "Damn Plastic Boat" at the dock in our back yard, but it is not like riding in a "Woody".

Back in PA and back at boat building. Why do the pictures post 90 degrees out of level? Is this something new?

Are you using an I Phone to take the pics. I've heard they do this unless the camera is held in the correct orientation. Not sre. Just passing this allong. But I have never had an issue with my Android phone pics.

Looking good Neel. Better get cracking if you want to finish before me! :D :D

Carl... I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 android. I did have an S5 and it worked fine. I see many other photos here on the forum with the same problem. Maybe it could be fixed at Glen-L

I've noticed problems when I upload pictures my dad's taken with his older android, but it hasn't been a problem with my iphone or since my dad got a newer phone.

It's probably related to the image software the forum uses - if it's older it may not handle EXIF data from some smartphones properly.

Thanks David,,,,, I think I may have to get one of my grandchildren to translate the information for me.... I did do an experiment with my phone camera. Yesterday when I took the two pictures I posted, I took them in the as a portrait, and something changed them to landscape. This morning I took another picture, this time holding the camera in the landscape orientation. It looks like the answer is to take pictures, orienting the camera as you think the computer will see them (as landscape or portrait). Then the computer/phone will not change them and the picture should be right side up on the forum post.... Clear as mud? Where's that grandkid ??

Neel

I see you and I have the same problem... Everything that is flat enough that things don't fall off becomes a table!

We're due for a Forum update, so I'll find out if this will help or if something else needs to be done.

Thanks Gayle... It seems as though others (Matt B) have the same problem with photos.

Right side up or upside down, the boat is looking good.
