Jenko's crackerbox

Postby jenko » Mon Dec 04, 2017 5:47 pm

After going to a circuit racing event at the local boat club I thought that I needed to build a faster lighter boat so I have ordered a set of crackerbox plans :D

you gonna put a Jag V-12 in it?
Oak is over rated, everything about it takes extra time; then it warps, splits or checks !!!

Was thinking of 383 holden v8 (stroked 304 ci)
But the one that is getting me thinking is the toyota 1GZFE v12 it has a good bore stroke ratio B 3.2'' S 3.18'' ,4 valves per cyl, variable valve timing performance parts readily available 390ftlbs torque @4000rpm :P

Pete, I had no idea Toyota made a V12... are the engines available outside of Japan?

I work in a large toyota dealership in CA. I spoke to our parts manager this morning, and he told me that he can't get parts for items only sold in Japan.
Getting parts for that engine might be a problem if you go that route.
