Possible Aqua Cat instruction error

Post by Catbldr »

I’m building the Aqua Cat. The inner chine longitudes instructions state to cut at a 40 degree angle. The plans show the angle at 50. Is there a reason for the difference?

Also the transfer paper (blue) sold by Glen-L doesn’t transfer to melamine. So you is you use this paper you have to use plywood for your layout board.

Cut them to which ever gives you more wood. If you're wrong you can always recut it.

It's probably a typo. I would tend to take Bill's suggestions but if you can get a measurement from the scale drawings or the patterns that should be accurate. There are several mistakes in the Geronimo instructions. Just make sure to check dimensions against the plans and the actual boat as you are building.

Oh, that's one of my favorite designs so you're going to have to start posting pictures.
