Looking great! You beat me to filling the seams!
What west system combo did you use 105 + 205 + 403?

Re: Downunder Monaco Utility
I used west systems 411 filler beads mixed with bote cote clear epoxy.
Mixed it up to a toothpaste consistency and squeezed into the gaps.
This week is sanding and then more sanding.

Re: Downunder Monaco Utility
Interesting, I don't think they sell 411 in the USA. All the google results come back with a .au or .nz URL...
I only see 404 thru 410

Any suggestions of what clear to use over the epoxy.

Looking good!
I have used Interlux perfection plus varnish with good results. Be sure your epoxy has fully cured (14+ days) before putting on the varnish.

Re: Downunder Monaco Utility
I used Perfection plus and love the way it turned out. I've tried regular spar urethane, which went on real nice and looked pretty good, but took forever to dry. I also used Pitthane, which is more of an industrial finish. You really have to thin it or you get lots of little bubbles that never go away and are hard to sand out.
I rolled my interlux on with a 4" foam roller and went right back over it with a good brush. I did 3 layers.

I used International Perfection Plus using a 12" disposable foam roller (Bunnings) and tipped off with a 2" foam brush. Renew brush when it is starting to hold paint. Dust will be your biggest problem. I painted inside a plastic party tent that was erected inside my enclosed shed and still had dust. So the top coat was actually DuPont Imron clear, same stuff, sprayed on inside a professional spray booth. Still look new after 6 years. Picture is Perfection Plus before topcoat.

Congratulations on a fine build. I hope you are having fun as I see others are. I believe we have 4 Monacos in the water down under now. Be nice one day to get them all together. I like your honesty on the bush fires and not being caused by climate change, gay marriages and the sort.

Re: Downunder Monaco Utility
cssh - Beautiful Monaco! Thank you so much for posting the photos and I'm glad you were able to pick up from where someone was unable to finish. So sorry about all the fires--we get them here in California too.
