Great videos! Boat looks great on the water. I assume the brown house is yours; very nice place and beautiful views!

So, have you been able to get your new motor all setup and tuned? Looks like lots of fun ahead for you and your family/friends.

Cool videos. Nicely put together. Makes me want to do something like that at some point! Nice area to do boating in too.

Pine Lake is an all sports lake in south western michigan. It is a 660 acre chain of four lakes connected by short channels. I live on lake four.
It’s a fun lake with lots of great friends and parties.
I’m not the most popular guy around, but Im finding I’m infamous now as the guy that built the wooden boat.
I’ve lost 4 hats on this lake. Three sank before I could get back to them, so I didn’t even try for this one. It was a hat I got from the big wooden boat show (150 antique wood boats) in Hessel michigan. Turns out, this one floated and a neighbor found it the next day.

After a month of waiting, I finally got my canopy. I have it mounted a little high and my lift isn’t level. Next spring I’ll fix all that. It’ll only be in for another month at the most.

Nice videos and nice lake. Your boat looks great! I grew up in Otsego and lived on Mill Lake in Gobles in the summers when I was young so I know that area well.

The TNT I built back in 2010-2011 had porpoising issues and I initially adjusted the motor with a lot of negative trim to correct but I didn't like the setup. I ended up installing Nauticus smart tabs and they work great. They make the wake kind of strange but there is no porpoising.

Enjoy your boat :)

Thanks guys and thanks for the trim tab info. I'll definitely check into those.

It’s 53 degrees out, but we are still rockin it here in south western Michigan. One of the few boats left in the water.

Looks fun footer (if not cold brrrrr)! :D :D

Great shots of the boat from your brother. Something real comforting about being able to pull a boat up on the beach!

I finally got some time (after catching up on a long list of honey do’s) to work on some metal. Got my transom bands done and my cutwater.

Cutwater. Tack welded, ran short beads. Ground down welds smooth. Buffed out the grinds, sanded with 350 grit, then 1000 grit, then 3000 grit, then 7000 grit, then buffed with stainless polish. Still have some fine polishing to do.
Then I have to install my eye bolt.
