Making some progress. Tapered the skeg and just got my first coat of primer on.

Getting closer to that flip. Have you figured out how you are going to do that? I probably overbuilt my setup, but it went smoothly.

I had originally planned to have a flipping party with a bunch of friends but Covid put an end to that. Current plan is to use a combination of hydraulic jacks and block and tackle to roll it over. Feeling pretty confident that with my two sons we can get it done safely.

Got the strong back and flip frame removed. This is probably the biggest the inside of the boat will ever feel. Lol

Thanks for the well wishes. Been working on filetting (is that the right word?) the joints along the frames. Pretty tedious but making good headway. Started making the darlings today. I had made a jig making scarf joints but it wasn’t wide enough for the darlings. Tried using my planer and belt sander with good results.
