Would we be looking to our homeowners policy for insurance coverage while being constructed on our property or when stored there. I am worried about the potential for falling trees and limb damage to my boat.

I called 12 insurance companies......when they heard "home made", the conversation ended. By contrast, Haggerty was happy to discuss my boat! I have ample insurance for a very reasonable cost. Give them a call!

Yep, Hagerty is the way to go, super easy and very reasonable.

I have Hagerty Marine Insurance for my Amp Eater. I told them it was from glen-l plans, they asked to see some construction photos of which I have plenty, and in three days the underwriters approved the policy. It was pretty easy.
