Racing Prop source?
Hi All
I have a 1980 Johnson 25 HP that I want to get prepared for my Tunnel Mite I am building
Question is --- where is a good source for racing props, cupped props etc for smaller motors?
I am searching on the net and I just keep coming up with the same standard props for this motor...for fishing boats etc...
Thanks
Chris

Ron Hill makes props, they are all over ebay. Its quite a bonus that they are really good props too.

Just turning back to this.
Ron Hill has nice props but unfortunately nothing for my particular motor....I did not even ask about a custom job. Rather invest in a racing engine first.

Ya it would be the better way to go. That is what I did. What are you looking for?
There is a Merc 44XS and 650X/700X on www.fastboatscanada.com in pretty mint shape.
Like I've been told by many people a flat bottom wouldn't do for racing.

Here's a link to an outboard rebuilding shop in Carp, Ontario. They specialize in vintage Mercury Mark series racing engines :
They may not have a prop for your particular motor, but may be able to refer you to someone that does !

Great looking and performing boat, great pics.
Can you post a shot from the side on the trailer showing how high the motor is mounted in relation to the bottom of the hull please?
Thanks
( I just saw one of those same brackets on Craigslist for $60...I almost got it,but it's gone now)
