My initial issues would be centre of bouyancy, and the reinforcement in the area of the running gear. I imagine you could sort out the cob in some way (shaft and prop running back would help compensate but overall weight would likely be more), but I think you would definitely have to add engine stringers reinforced to areas of the hull as well as some sort of stiffener down the centre from the engine aft (usually a thicker keel in a standard design). Same old story though, you would be changing major aspects of the design so that it is no longer as the designer intended, and any ongoing problems would be strictly your responsibility. That said, you could try if you are so inclined and I am sure everybody will help as much as they are able, but please make sure that the Glen-L name is not tainted if there are issues due to the design changes.
