Tunnel Mite Dashboard

Post by weasel » Mon Jan 04, 2016 2:39 pm

I've heard some people have raised the dashboard up 3 inches on the "Tunnel Mite". I am making this boat right now and was wondering a few things. When you do this you just cut the dashboard 3 inches longer (taller) and that will just raise the bow to the dashboard angle a bit. Then cut the coaming from the bow at an angle to match up to the same height at the new dash location. Then just lengthen the braces accordingly. Here is my question. Do you leave the rear of the coaming the same height as on the original plans, I assume the original rear coaming plans are at the top of the motor board already. Thanks anyone, I have been trying to find a close up picture, but can't find one of the rear coaming.
