PerCapri

An eight degree down angle gear will flatten the engine angle to about 4*. There is usually a 2* up slope on the keel to make the total 14*.

The Riviera Uses 16 deg shaft angle or turn motor around and use a Vdrive trans.
Interestingly enough the engine seems to only be only a little bit further back than the Monaco/Riviera with all that wasted space at the rear (waiting for a rear seat) :D
