shortening super huck toons

Postby chugalug » Wed May 02, 2018 4:24 am

was looking at super huck pontoon boat and saw recomendation that toons are not to be shortened or lengthened. I bought the plans on hopes I could build a pontoon boat of 16 ,18, or 20 ft length.I wanted the taller toons for more weight capacity and freeboard.I'm not putting cabin on-just want to have smaller boat for fishing.I used to have steel 24 ft. one but the toons rusted out(it was old when I got it)it was a little too long and was like parking the "Queen Mary" when docking.figured that I could cut the length out a little, put my low profile 15 hp(same one was on the steel pontoon)maybe have soft-top. :D
