Welcome Bill,

The TNT has always been one of my favorites, and I always wondered what it'd be like with a jet since I saw an article on one in Mechanics Illustrated back in the late 1960's.That one used a lot smaller engine than a PWC,so the performance was less.

Glen-L reprinted that article a while back in one of their newsletters:

Here is an article about using a jet ski pump:

The 750 is a good choice. My boat is about 12'6'' + the step plate on the back making it 13'. I modified the transom frame making it more V shaped and it works fine. I also added strakes to the hull. I also arched the deck making more leg room. Have no fear when modifying the plans to make things fit.

See the V shape of the Jet ski hull pc. you cut out? This is why I changed my transom frame and the next frames forward to match the V more closely.

I would like to se a pic. from the back of the transome. And how are you going to transition the hull to the bowed section (grafted in jet ski hull)?

Well the boat is in my basement. The room is 12' x 10' and the jig is on wheels. The front sticks out the door about 8". Sorry you will have to wate intill i flip it for pics of the back... I'm going to put wood in front of the jet hull. Ran out of epoxy today have to get more. Have all the plywood 1/4" marine 39 buck a sheet. Is that a good price? I wont to have the bottom done and flipped over by X-mas... Oh i'm to put a little swim plat form on the back. Something like yours Steve... Thanks for the posts....... Bill

Be sure and epoxy the heck under that grafted in part.

I notice the pump mounts land inside the transom, did you lengthen the hull?

To attach the platform on the back I added a 3/4'' pc. of ply across the transome and flush with the bottom. And then glued and screwed the platform to the top edge. And just used gussets to suport it.

I would bow the deck, it gives more leg room...

And I droped the center of my forms to make a more of a V hull to blend in with the jet-ski graft.
