Jet flying saucer UK

Post by Faststu »

Hi everyone

Thought it's about time I started this page to show my progress .
Received my flying saucer plans July 17 and after a few months sourcing materials and having to be creative with my storage as short of space. eventually got started making templates for frames about Christmas

Installing the chines.
was lucky and able to to obtain my sapele in 16 foot lengths.so no need for scarf joints.
Short of space at front made fitting very awkward had quite a bit of screaming from myself especially when the clamps slipped on me and got wacked by by the chine lol

Installing the sheers fitted in two laminations went so much easier than the chines.
