jet boat

Post by billmed » Tue Sep 04, 2007 4:53 pm

I made a jet boat out of a glen-L flying saucier, it rides ok when i am alone but when someone is with me it will wobble or rock from side to side at almost any speed, if anyone could recommend a cure it would be greatly appreciated .

I have added trim tabs to my flying saucer. Cannot tell you about the results as the lake is down to far here in AL to even get a boat in the water.

There are several types of trim tabs. I installed the ones that are like a shock absorber from Nauticus. They are suppose to self adjust to the conditions. www.nauticusinc.com If you are going to buy them, do a search, as I found prices from $99 to 139.

Several other people on this site have used the same tabs with success.

This is ausome.
Another 12' jet boat. Please; Please post pics.
It would help to know all the details of the build, motor, pump, hull.
post pics. of the transome and the water intake area. These need to be archived, especially with another style of boat.

Like the other guys trim plates could be an answer.
