Well, I have some armidillo if any desire it. Stupid thing has been terrorizing my yard for 2 years. Came home tonight from moving the son out and found him in the neighbors yard. Gertrude was not available but my tire iron was. I took out 2 years of fixing flower beds and yards on that armidillo with a tire iron. Anyone want some ground meat

Well not likely to make him mad. That pistol was designed for just that and nut'n else. lol I mean, taken care of sum'n big that can make a turd out of ya... It is the .454 Casull Alaskan Guide pistol and it's a Bear stopper. I'm serious about two hands. I worked up a load for it and man it about broke my wrist shooting the different 3 shot groups. I loaded 4 x 3 shot loads. I went to the range, shot those and picked the one that was the best. (3/4 MOA @ 10 yards)

Now come on guys let's get a few things straight-

1. the flower garden belongs to the Admiral - nuff said!!

2. Gertrude was too busy locating a new lover so that ya'll could feast at G4

3. And Kacelia Kerry (typical teenager she is) was taking a nap at home in her nice little bed.

And I did not have my hog killing knife with me

So being the industrious and innovative person I am (sic), I beat him to death.

But now that I have had 3 of these episodes in the past couple of weeks (2 armidillo and 1 coon) , Kacelia's bed is being moved to the truck. She has to start earning her living.

Dang, I hired Gertrude and Kacelia for this very purpose and they leave me with the dirty work.

Hickory Smoked Armadillo
Submitted by Shawn Burney.

~ 1 armadillo, cleaned and skinned
~ salt
~ pepper
~ your favorite seasoning, optional
~ your favorite bbq sauce, optional

Trim off as much fat as possible from armadillo.

Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle on your favorite seasoning to taste.

When charcoal is ready, add damp hickory chunks and place whole armadillo on rack. Close lid.

Let brown on all sides. When browned, wrap in foil and place back on grill for about 2 hours.

When done, trim meat from bones and add bbq sauce for a great sandwich.

Serve and Enjoy!

I always worry about recipies that have "add barbeque sauce" as the last step. BBQ sauce can hide a lot of hideous meat!

How about a good Rat burger?

Doesn't that just remove all the tasty character of the meat? :P
