Since I retired last year, I've become an obsessive/compulsive neat freak  and I have wood boat fever. I guess that's pretty damn sick  !!!!

What is the current count and amount? Any idea about Friday and Saturday attendance?

I going to make all the stew I can afford. I'm looking at about 50 to 60 pounds, or that's 6 or 7 gallons. That should be 70+ servings or Friday night.

Bill

We have 89 confirmed and 97 with the maybees for Saturday. Friday looks like about 10 less do to Saturday drive in folk

Still looking at 36-37 boats.

So I am expecting north of 100 for Saturday and over 40 boats. Sounds exciting.

I've ordered drink "KOOZIES" for the group. The design is a secret. You have to come to get one!

2 more families and one non-Glen-L boat joined . GREAT.

That puts us over 100 folk and 40 boats.

If everyone actually show up, Hales Bar will not know what happened to them by letting this group come.

Hi, I'm new the forum and have plans for a tiny titan in hand, but haven't gotten started building yet. We live within 3 hrs of Nackajack and my wife and I plan on attending, we haven't made the decision whether or not to bring the NON-GLEN-L boat, but we'll be there. I'm looking forward to seeing some finished boats and getting some insite from others with more experience. I figured I'd start small and work my way up. Since this is our first gathering, is there anything special I should know,do or bring before attending?

Hi Dave

I believe we confirmed by email, but just to be sure......

Lori and Mark Chadwick will be attending. We will be bringing Sparrow a Glen-L Bull's Eye. We arrive on Friday.

Cheers

Mark C.

JP- Would be great to have you and your wife. We don't care whether you have a Glen-L build or not. Would you kindly send me a PM with you and your wife's name and contact info so I can put your info on the log?

Thank you

Dave

Dave,
I don't think I'm on your list, yet. I posted in the "Who's coming to G4 (Pictures Only)" thread, but not here until now.

I and the Tornado will be there. It may not be water-ready; a lot's yet to be done with re-rigging after the paint change. Maybe I'll bring all the parts and we can have a good ol' fashioned Boat Riggin'. Kinda like a barn raisin' but with... Anyway, you get the idea.

Looking forward to my first "G-L-G".
BTW, the boat is officially named "Vee Driven", now.

Gotcha Paul. I did pick up your posting on the Gathering Pic forum.

You won't be the first and won't be the last to not have a "water ready" boat at the Gs. In fact, we believe new builders learn more from work in progress than from the completed boats. I was considered the newbie on the block last year and learned a LOT (no pun intended)

Perhaps we can all pitch in, rig it up and launch it for you. I promise you Gayle will have no trouble accepting the offer to be the pilot. :D
