Ok, Folks, ladies and "gentlemen" (said loosely)

Time is upon us. I am about to release the OFFICIAL ROSTER. My mentor, the illustrious Bruce, will be preparing name tags from the list. So if you need to know who you are, then let me know so I also will know who you are as soon as possible so we will all know who each other is.

Get the drift. If you haven't let me or Bruce know, PULLLLLLEEEEZE let us know.

Lonnie,
Great to hear you'll be coming. Maybe we can get a picture of your Mini-Cruiser sailboat and my mini-cruiser tugboat side by side!

Lonnie

Welcome :!: You may have to put your pin on the edge of the map! I think I lost some of the Keys when I trimmed to fit the backing. But, as I remember some of the keys ceceded from the nation.

Sorry about spelling.

Glad to have you!

Well, even though my hoped-for "reason" for coming this year hasn't panned out, it does look like Janet (wife) and I will make it up for a day-trip on Saturday, possibly bringing along the two kids (ages 4 & 7). I haven't followed the forum too closely in the past few weeks... besides looking at boats and - hopefully - catching a few rides, what activities will there be that the kids could participate in? Any swimming at or near the marina? If I have any hope of getting to stay more than a couple of hours, I'm going to have to keep the kids occupied. Boat rides count, by the way!

Incidentally, for those who don't know, the reason I was hoping to come for the weekend this year was that I hoped to have my non-Glen-L 1957 Thompson Bros. Sea Lancer back to a shape that could at least be put on a trailer if not actually in the water. As it turns out, life as a small business owner, and life in general, have gotten in the way, but I do plan to bring some key parts I've been working on and maybe a bunch of photos.

For the record, I LOVE the Nickajack location... my vote's to keep it there for at least one more year so I can bring my boat back next time!

Looking forward to seeing everyone I met at G1 and those I've met virtually since then!

Cheers,

Bill

PS - Hector, the Krazy Kuban, will not be attending with me this year. He forgot it was moved to September and is hosting his annual Cuban backyard pig roast on Saturday. Tough choice for me, but G4 actually wins out....
