I see lots of meat and entree items on the list. Is anybody bringing salad or rolls or any other side items? We would volunteer to do salad if nobody else is friday and saturday night.

Does a man need anything other than meat and beverage of choice? :D

I can arrange to bring some cole slaw or potato salad but short on refrigeration. Do we have a report on the capacity for large tins of food?

Well, ummm, yes there is 1 other thing...................

Dave, what if some of the side items may be contributed by folks coming in that dont know what else to do? This is something that needs to be done and some people are asking 'what can I do?'
just my 2 cents

Hales ar does not have a lot of capacity to store food. At Guntersville each Cabin had a full size refrigerator. These cabins have the little dorm jobs. They have 2 burner cooktops. But, no ovens. I think we have access to one standard oven.

Lauren has made 2 Bunt Pan Pound cakes.

And it looks like she plans to make the Artichoke Pasta Salad that went so fast last year.

I just got through pealing 10# of potatos. That is just for the Brunswick Stew.

I haven't started the Chowda!

If we get comments about not friendly or running out of food... I'm going to add names to that list of A__ Kickings that we started with Bob Maskle boat damage :!:

You set the standard way too high for others to live up to, hince the reason that you find yourself in the fix that you are in now. Of course LOLA tells us behind the scenes that all of this keeps you off of the beaches with the beach bunnies.

I will bring my gas cooker it is a single burner for a turkey pot but I have used it for a big frying pan cooking breakfast .I also have a cast iron griddle that can be used on a two burner camp stove smooth on one side ,ribed on the other.I think I have a two burner gas stove someplace I need to look for it .I 'am not sure how far the RV campsites are from the cooking spot.,but I have all the comforts of home in mine encluding an oven and three burner stove we can use if we need to
