How far is that from the Boysen Reservoir? And is BR big enough for some serious boating?

...I'm BACK! Wow, that place looks cool. And HUGE! That's what we Glen-L boaters like. BIG WATER!! Ok, Leakcheck. No excuses.

Boysen is huge. it is sandwiched in between reservations and there are no facilities that I am aware of but it is awesome! . But we would have the entire lake to ourselves!

I am sure I can find some water out here though!!

And I would provide all of the beer ! :P

There ARE launch ramps @ Boysen, right?

Oh yeah...plenty of fishing on that lake! They have ramps!

Only if the Gathering was a little earlier (like b4 school) imagine taking up a few of the dorms, using the commercial kitchen facilities and hitting one of the local nearby lakes for the gathering..I think there are even some with cabins and plenty of camping. Water is not what you would call warm though! Louie Lake, Frye Lake, Fiddlers Lake, ah well....Let me know what you guys come up with for next year, maybe I will actually start to build a boat !! That would be a great idea!

 I am a college grad in the U.S but i lived many years over seas 5 years in Germany spent timer in Canada and in south America and in the orient  so I am all mixed up one thing you have to remember about the western states it can get cold here at night even in the summer months unless you head to the south west. The valley I live in is 5000 foot above sea level with high rocky mountains on either side of me you southern boys might just freeze up yes Flaming Gorge is very big but not to lake power which is lower down the river after the Green river joins the Colorado river both lake are full of trout and you can get lost in both
