Can't really pass this Gathering up, it's a little over an 1 hour from my house :D :D

I'll try to reserve a floating cabin today.

I got my cabin reserved also for Thur. Fri. Sat. I am bringing a young friend with me this trip so he can enjoy our boating experience.

I spoke with Rene in the reservation office this morning, and she said that right now our group has floating cabins 1 through 18. Gonna be a GREAT group!

Yeah Bob I like that one. Let me know if you don't take it. I've got a boat picked out for it already. It will look perfect docked next to Crappie Attitude and Half Vast.

My wife (Dawn) was sitting reading this with me and said "...quit beating around the proverbial bush and just name it The Woodpecker..." her words not mine!

For some reason I think this post might get removed by one of the other fellow moderators.

I just reserved floating cabin #24 for Friday and Saturday. Now all I have to do is finish my tugboat  . What about a mini-cruise on Thursday or Friday for the displacement speed boats??

Hey, we could all chip in and buy a "Gathering" townhome and just have our events there. :D

Hey Folks. Thought you might like this picture of our 2010 Gathering location I took.

My screen saver on my computer is a slide show of pictures on my computer hard drive.

It stopped on this picture as I got on the computer tonight and I stopped in my tracks for a second. I am certain these are aerial photos of Hales Bar Marina with Hwy 24 going across the river. These are from April of 2009 returning from the Sun-N-Fun fly-in in Lakeland FL back to Indiana. I remember taking this picture thinking it was such a beautiful place to boat. I wasnt sure exactly what body of water it was at the time and never bothered to look it up later, but now it is clear.
