In Atlanta: To Build a Jet Runabout

Post by Fabrizio »

Greetings to all:

I've been lurking the Glen-L forum for years. My plan is to build a small runabout, 12 to 14 feet, and power it with an engine/pump from a cannibalized jet ski. Questions to the Glen-L Brethern:

1. Suggestions for the best Glen-L design for a jet powered runabout?
2. What is the best jet ski to use as a donor? I'm leaning towards Yamaha or Kawasaki.

I thank you all in advance for your experience and wisdom

I'm not really sure on either of those questions except that it has been done many times. There are a lot of jet squirts out there for one. I'm sure several others could be adapted as well. Good luck and have fun.
