Hi,
Iwould like to introduce myself, I am a retired carpenter my wife and i live in a
small town called Bracewell, near Gladstone on the central coast Queensland,
Australia. Jamie who is building (Aussie,Belle) is our eldest son.
I have been watching the video of (Midnight,Cry) on the net and it has inspired
me to build a Riviera,
I have set a finishing date of November 2012. so i can attend a wooden boat
festival in Grafton New ,South ,Wales.
Learning heaps from the forum, well i am off to start building a boat will be
asking lots of questions.

HI
I have the plans for the Riviera , will be makeing battons chines sheers first. they will be placed in a jig i have made to pre bend them , I know they can be bent cold but it will make it easier if there is already some bend in them.
build frame is made out of steel as I am building a rotisserie so I can roll the boat and work on it standing up or sitting down,
The most important part with this build frame is to have no movement twist or flex at all Iwill achive that before I start;
W ill post pictures when i can.
It was good to hear from Dave and Graehme looking to catch up some day.
