Hello

I'm a long time sailor and my daughter recently announced she wants to build a sailboard. I've restored 5 old sailboats in my days but this will be my (our) first "from scratch" boat.

I'm thinking of modifying the buckboard plans (see attached photo for modification ideas)

It has been many years since I've been on my sailboard. (Does anyone want to buy it?) But, it was easier to tack if I went around in front of the mast. Your rig would make that difficult.
