Hi All, I guess I am the latest addition to the forum! I am building my first boat here on the Island of Malta... I do not have much experience with wood work, but I have decided to take the plunge! Been looking at Glen-L For years now, finally it is time! I hope :)

Thanks for the welcome, well this is going to be my second attempt at boat building. The first one didn't go that well as I way building this sailing dinghy about ten years ago. A liitle while before completion she was stolen from my drive way! HA! Never touched the water.

Anyway, I am itching to gett started, I am waiting for the plans still, hoping they will be here soon (they have a long way to travel) I've decided to go for a Dyno Mite. Fingers crossed

Hi there, I'm from Malta too. I am a carpenter , willing to built my second boat. This will be the ZIP . That old classic look all veneered !!. My first built was a 15'6" canoe and it was a success.

Next week will buy the plans for the ZIP, but still have some questions about that flat rear end, knowing that here in Malta vee hull is the best boat for a pleasant ride !
