Hello Everyone,

My name is Bill Lawton. I live in Cape Coral, FL. I have been studying the Glen L site quite often as of late. I live in Sunny SW Florida with my wife and two daughters. I work for the City of Cape Coral currently as a plumber.

I look forward to getting to know everyone on the forum and learning all I can. I am currently in the model selection stage of my journey. I have never built a boat before although I have owned one. I have always loved wood boats and have wanted to either restore or build one.

I am currently leaning towards the Malahini for my first build. I am in Awe of some of the gorgeous boats I have looked at on this site and you tube. I think the barrel backs are amazing and have big hopes of growing into one some day. Having said that, I am going to start with what I can afford and make my first build a pleasurable journey I can pay cash for as I go.

Again looking forward to getting to know everyone.
