HI FROM SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA!

Post by ChampionsFindAWay » Thu Aug 09, 2012 11:00 pm

I am about to begin a build of the Renegade here in Sydney! If there is anyone in Australia, preferably Sydney with any helpful hints, suppliers etc it would be great to know.

I noticed an Ian Bell of QLD built a Renegade not so long ago, if anyone's know of him and a contact that would be great!

Hope everyone is well!

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul, a couple of suppliers i've come across in the past during my searches;

Drive Marine in Beverly Hills apparently stock all the boatcraft stuff

Though as mentioned in the Australian Sub's thread , the boatcraft.com.au main site does an excellent job in describing all their product lines.

Secondly, particularly when it comes to timber, Trend Timbers in Mulgrave carry a good range of local and imported boat building lumber.

I was in Syd for a few days in July and tried to visit them both but the Mrs' need to track down scrapbooking shops won out :x

Hi, thanks for those suggestions, I may get the chance to check out Boats Craft this week!

It's good to know I'm not the only one who's time is ruled by a woman haha!

Hi Paul

Anagote Timbers in Marrickville is well worth a visit, good guys to deal with and loads of just beautiful timber. There are 5 Renagade builders in Australia. I have 2 Forum names - Pointo in Yass NSW and Jonty in QLD. You could contact these guys through the Forum. Happy to send you further info if you PM me.

Tim
