Deck bling!!! Almost time to get your masterpiece wet and go bang it against the dock.

Remember to drill oversized holes, you'll want to encapsulate the holes before installing them.

Looking good.

All deck hardware minus the windshield brackets is test fit, went to do an electrical test and have a dead battery (currently on the charger) pretty happy with the overall look, now to pull all of it off and do the final epoxy coat. 8)

Again, great looking boat with the shiny bits, will look awesome when varnished and hardware back in place.

After failing to find an auto body shop willing to clear my boat for under 3K i decided to just stick to what i know and i know varnish! The deck was sanded with 220 then scuffed with red scotch bright, masked, tack ragged and the first of many coats of pettit Captains Z-spar 1015 varnish was rolled on and tipped this morning, damn near a glass finish, one down, several more to go. After the deck is complete i will do the sides and transom in the same manner. Making good progress! 8)

That's the varnish that I used, and I was very happy with it. Your Zip is looking great!
