Josh, the cutwater looks awesome!. Great job on that. That band saw is too cool!. They knew how to make tools in those days. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the fore deck. I still haven't decided what I am going to do with mine.

Just finishing up a few loose ends before planking the deck, built the fifth and final motorwell bulkhead today and coated with two coats of epoxy, this one is for the steer cable, getting ready to do three coats of varnish on this as well as the other bulkheads, all that is left for the motorwell to be complete is drain holes and varnish. Knocking things off the list one by one, I'm almost done eating this elephant :lol:

Resawed a couple more planks for the deck tonight, should start planking the deck this weekend. 8)

Started on the cover boards tonight, chris i hope you don't mind, I stole your joint pattern, just couldn't come up with anything I liked better than yours. 8)

If i do make it you guys are more than welcome to ride with me, good news is i used up all my vacation so i wont get vacation time until june 2018, should be plenty enough time to wrap up the Zip build.

Finished cutting and test fitting the Cover boards tonight, will start gluing them down tomorrow. 8)

An 11" wide plank made it possible to cover from the transom to front cockpit dash without a joint.

Check out the Zip bow sprit.......creative clamping at its finest, two coverboards glued down, #3 tomorrow.

Five of six cover boards are glued down, last night I started fitting the center king plank, gotta pick up more poxy grip to continue. 8)

All cover boards and king planks are glued down, today i test fit my deck plank layout and glued the first two 2" planks down.
