My name is David. Boating and airplanes have been lifelong passions. Already built a plane. I think it's time to build a boat. Currently own a Glastron CVX-16 so I've been looking at the Outrage. However, can't seem to get the Malahini off my mind. I have a lot of questions and so I think I've come to the right place. Looking forward to new friendships.

David, Welcome. If you've built an airplane, you can build a boat. Several builders here have also built planes. Pllease don't be afraid to ask questions and please post pics.

Hello Dave! I'm located near Milford, Michigan which would be West of Pontiac, South of Flint, and East of Howell. How about yourself?

I'm in a little town called Allegan, halfway between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, over on the west side.
I know what you mean by trying to decide on what to build. I had a tough time with that one myself so I decided that I'll just have to build more than one (gotta justify all the cool woodworking tools in the shop, right?)
Boy, I think JimmY was right when he mentioned that we should have our own gathering. If Michiganders keep popping up like this, it could very well happen, and sooner than we all think..... which means that I'd better get in gear and start building a boat so I have something to show up with.....
Great to have you here Dave!!

Hi Stromz,

Sounds like you're just around the corner from me. Let me know if you need help with the "flip" or any other construction help.

Good luck,
-Jim
