renegade update

Postby ian bell » Fri Oct 14, 2016 3:16 am

Have had a bad year health wise ,as well as my wife too with a couple of Ops for both of us. On the mend now and back to working on the Renegade . Have finished the swim platforms , made the frames out of stainless steel 1" pipe welded and bolted through the transom. Marine ply fitted to the top and fibre glassed and coated with epoxy, painted them with non slip paint. Have fitted the floatation , ceilings and carpet . Seating is at the upholsterer . Have got a temporary ply windscreen fitted ,waiting on dollars so I can get one made . Have fitted the gauges and done the wiring . Fitted the gunnel rubber and steering wheel . Hope to have it on the water before Xmas .

Ian

That is one pretty boat! Wish it had been like this when I was down there.

Now stay healthy and use the boat.

Ian
So close you can taste it! I bet you are straining at the bit to get into the water. Great boat.

That boat has some great lines. It screams "fast" just sitting on the trailer.
