Good Evening All
Thank you for your replies.
I checked the orientation of the floor timbers, they are correct. Frames 1 - 5 facing fwd,
6 -10 face aft.
Ran the straight edge from 1 to 7 on the keel line. 1 is lower by 1/2", which was the possible error
from the patterns.
I can only assume in the lofting process, a simple error of judgement was made.
I have made a correction on the patterns for the 1/2", and with a battern drawn an
amended section. Should be able to carefully bandsaw out a filler strip, it will be
12" either side of the centre line and taper down 'wafer thin' to meet the existing
bottom section.

Re: Gooday from Queensland the sunshine state of Australia
Hello All
A bit of light relief!................
My daughter showed some of her friends photographs of my boat
frames as they sit on the form.
One of them made the comment, ' it looks like a dinosaur skeleton '.
I reminded my daughter that the only dinosaur is me!.
Have a good week end everybody.
Regards. Reid

Hi Reid - Any updates on this HUGELY interesting build? What a monster of a boat for a home build! Like many others, I'm a big fan of Gung Ho (and cruisers in general) and excited to see a build thread on the forum. Cheers, Doug
