Good morning everyone, my name is Bernard. I start building a Riviera this winter. I do have a question regarding the engine for this plan. I already have a 6.2L GM/DETROIT DIESEL. Is it ok to put that engine in my Riviera? The engine is already transform for marine whit heat exchanger and an 18 degree transmission. Thank's for the answer.

That engine seems physically to large for a Riviera. My Tahoe is 20'-6". I run a Yanmar 125 HP (metric) diesel. It weighs 675# I think. I can run 38 MPH at WOT. The problem is getting a gear/prop combination. I think you can swing a 13" prop with the Riviera.

Mini -Tug, KH Tahoe 19 & Bartender 24 - There can be no miracle recoveries without first screwing up.
