Hello All:

Nice to be here. I built my first GL design 20 years ago. It was an AMIGO and it still sailing today. I ended up giving it to my father-in-law who keeps it sparkling new.

Now I am iinto blue water fishing. I am looking ot the Bear Cat and I have already bought the study plans.
At the moment I have a homebuilt 46' trawler in wood epoxy that has 15000 miles under the keel. Enough for long traveling.

Welcome and thats quite a resume filled with the Glen-L family. Do you have any photos of your seasoned Amigo? Let us know as you make progress on your new hull.

As a matter of fact, when I was writing the previous message I looked for a picture of ti from 6 years ago. As I am on an oil rig at the moment, I realized that the picture is in a pendrive back home. As soos as I get there I'll send you de picture.

Fantastic, I had a friend three years ago that worked the rigs off of South Africa and commuted back and forth for one month at a time. He would chat a bit on a fiberglass site when on duty. Neat.
