I realized, today, that as my Sabotina approaches completion, I may want to add some auxiliary motive force for when the wind dies. I'm too lazy to row, but there's an old Ford V8 in the barn that I can install. Does Glen-L sell the through-hull parts to make that work? Do you think that it matters how I install the fuel tank (it's a 55-gallon steel drum) for balance?

If you mount it vertical on an old outboard lower unit you'll save the interior space. To balance, the 55 gallon drum will have to be mounted on a bow pulpit, probably about 6 feet out. A long tiller would help counteract the torque.
