Has anyone else built an Ensenada 25?

I thought this topic would be useful for new builders to connect with people who have worked on or completed the same project.

As for me, I would like to find people who have built the Ensenada 25.
It would be really useful to better understand where the challenges are, what expenses to expect, fill in information where the plans may be lacking, etc.
I have not yet started, but I would like to know what I am getting into (costs, skills required, etc) before committing.

For starters:
Woodcrafting and fiberglass are no problem, BUT... is there any metal hardware that needs to be welded or machined? Can it all be bought "off the shelf"?
and, it would be good to get an idea of the tools and tricks needed to install a 1200 pound keel. I think I have a foundry that can pour it, but what special hardware is required to fix it to the boat (again, machined parts vs. off the shelf). I ask because I currently have no metalworking skills.

Thanks!

I think I have a complaint here!! Where's a photo of a an Ensinada?

I tried looking up the Ensinada in customer build photos. I couldn't even find that. So I don't know what an Ensinada looks like.

As to a 24' boat, I've had 22' 24' twice and a 29' and used them all for fishing.
A 24' is an easy boat to trailer so it'd be the 'most useful' boat you ever had.
Spending a week at a time on a 24' is easy and refreshing if you moving about with the fish.

Here is an image. It's a beautiful performance sailboat:

Beautiful boat! I almost went with that design, but the size is just a hair bigger than I wanted / needed. I'm building the Glen-L 21CB. 21 ft in length, swing keel, smaller cabin, but still good for day and potentially weekend sailing (which is what I'm planning on).
