It was a full on assault today as all three recruits hit the water in the Kidrow and KidYak. :D I need to hurry up and build them some bigger boats. :shock: :roll: :wink: :lol:

They LOVE IT!!!!! Boy that really brings back memories... I member my ole pirogue.... Daddy had it built down in Delcambre, LA and had it on our ole shrimp boat. I member one year for thankgiven he went up the bayou and killed a couple of ducks for dinner. After I was about 6 she became mine and I took her everwhere! Man the FUN I had in that thing!!!!! Thanks for the video!!!!!

Thats just way too cool! Thanks for sharing. I bet you have created a tradition that you will need to uphold, as they get bigger. The boats will need to be bigger, you know. :lol:

Oyster is SOOOOO right on this one!!!!! I have a 22'er and a 24'er now.... and looking for the next one! LOL Plus I have to build my young'n one soon......

Thanks Guys,

I really enjoyed building these two small boats. I really learned alot from them, but I couldn't have done them without the help from the folks on this forum. I have said it before and I will say it once more. If anyone is considering building a Glen-L design the first thing you need to do is join this forum. The second thing you need to do if you have any doubts is to build one of their smaller designs. But, then again you could do what most of the grown ups on here do and jump in feet first. :D I just like to start small and take my time. Maybe when I finally get out of diapers I will build a real boat. :wink: :lol:

Thats what it is all about Chip,,,my kids are too old but I have four grand kiddies that I built the skiff for. My grandson told Nana tonight that he cant wait to drive the skiff,,,neither can I.. Good on you Chip!!!
