PROJECT BOAT LAUNCH

Postby Retroman » Mon Apr 02, 2012 4:32 am

My video camera is on its way out. It let me down and I couldnt get any video of the boat under way. But here is a video of us at the launch ramp.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozmomN_uiOo

I got a top speed of 23mph and the boat was fun to drive, it handles much differently that my glen l flying saucer. It seems the float on the top of my 57 MK55, is to high and the carb floods when I pump the bowl on the fuel line. Im also having a hard time shifting into reverse.

Here is a video of my motor evaluation after the ride, please check it out and give me your thoughts. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Looking great on the water!

After looking at the video, I suspect the camera got seasick...
