What is a good brand/style/whatever for ring terminals and butt connectors for wiring? Do you guys like the ones with heat shrink tubing built in? Any recommendations on where to acquire such hardware?

Matt

I have mostly used the built in type. Most are Anchor. Good or bad that is what I used.

Hi Matt,

I bought all my wiring supplies from http://www.bestboatwire.com/. He is a small supplier, but he had the best prices and the custom built battery cables were first rate. It was one stop shopping for wire, terminals, cables, sheathing, clamps, etc... I use the heat shrink terminals, and sealed everything tight.

The other option I know of is Harbor Freight. They have the heat shrink terminals as well.

Thanks, fellas! I'm having sticker shock on the ancor connectors. The ones at the website Jimmy mentioned are about 1/4 the price. Looks like a good resource.
