I have ordered my gauges for Gentry. Not cheap but definitely look great. I got them to produce a 5" gauge 0-60MPH fed by the Skydrive, with a tacho in the bottom area of the gauge (they call it Speedtachular). I also got them to put the Glen-L logo front and centre. Gayle liked it so much she has added them to the catalog. Either side I have a dual 3 1/2" gauge for temp, fuel, volts and oil pressure. They should arrive in the next 7-10 days and I will let you all know what they are like.

Hi Bob. Waiting with baited breath. Customs got involved, just finished that lovely process and awaiting delivery. If I am lucky might have them by the weekend.

Gauges arrived safely. Very impressed with the quality and look. The backs are not sealed, so the dash needs to be protected from the elements, but other than that they are fantastic! As you can see I had the Glen-L logo inserted, and am very happy with the result. Gayle has arranged for them to be available to anybody else who may want that final touch to a fantastic Glen-L design.

What sealed it in the end for me was the Skydrive. It meant I could have a matching set with an accurate speedo at all speeds and no unsightly pitot hanging off the transom (bear in mind it is speed over ground between two points though, not water speed). The Speedtachular also meant that I had a balanced look for the instruments without the extra width or height.

Very happy !!!!

Re: Gauges, Question for Gail

I see that the gauges are now available through Glen-L.
Question for Gail: Is the "Sky-Drive" GPS receiver included? What about the senders?
Thanks,

Love the gauges!

I told my wife we needed a three-car garage for my projects...she told me to ask her for permission next time before I buy a house.

Hi Bob,
Mine came with all senders except the fuel sender as they need to suit the tank. Skydrive is included, oil pressure, temp, and you specify the fuel sender you have as well as temp sender thread size you need. Oil pressure sender came with an elbow and adapter in case they are needed. The control box that also arrives has a zillion switches (well, 10 anyway) to match rpm and speed to your engine, although not all are needed for the skydrive setup.

Hi everyone, I was wondering what gauges I need for the helm of my Sea Knight. I am using a 55 hp outboard (Bearcat) and to help along the completion of my boat I thought I could add some instruments. I have a radio and a few odd old used tach etc. but may like to purchase something new as well. What are the basic requirements for an simple outboard.? Thanks for your input.

Fuel, Tach, Volts, water pressure are what I had on an older Merc 500.
