Have plans for the Drifter 16. Wanted to build one since I first saw drifters on the North Platte River outside Saratoga Wyoming.

Having a heck of a time finding marine grade 1/2" and 3/8", A-A or A-B plywood. Would really like to find 12' and 14' lengths as per the design specs, but could settle for 8' lengths and deal with scarf joints etc. as necessary.

I am located in north Alabama and any supplier within a couple hundred miles would be great and anything within 3 or 4 hundred could work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check with Bateau.com They can supply all grades of marine ply and even cut puzzle joints for long lengths.

I got mine from Houston Hardwoods. You can find them online. They ship right to your door.

Maybe it will be done by G6 and maybe not.

I think Houston Hardwoods and Hardwoods of Alabama are the same company.
