I have the dinghy that my Dad and I built 55 years ago. It is constructed of marine plywood and has oak keel and keelsons. The plywood bottom seems in great condition, but I am worried about the oak parts. They do not appear to be rotten however I wonder if they have become so brittle with age that they do not support the bottom as they should. Looking for advise. Thanks
