i am getting ready to build a crabbing skiff some where between 20 and 30ft and 7 to 9ft wide and i haven't built a boat before but have worked on boats a lot. my dad told me 2 use 1/2" ply wood and just fiberglass it. but i wanted to know if yall had any other suggestions. it is going to be used for crabbing, fishing, and what ever in calm and rough water. All help is appreciated. thanks.

Welcome. Each Glen-L plan comes with a material list of what will be used for each design. With 300 or so to chose from on this site Im sure you'll find a hull that fits your needs which you can then outfit the inside for crabbing and fishing as you wish.
