Post by Nomad_19 » Tue Sep 04, 2012 6:14 pm

Rory (darthplywood) will apreciate these. I'm building one for him and myself. They will be fitted out as a runabout like the version my father/Rory's grandfather built and Rory built in full size'

I call them the twins, Luke and Leia.....

scale is 1-1/2" = 1'

used a Biesse Rover with a 5' x 12' flat bed to cnc the ribs!! talk about more power!!!

I love the paper-clip clamps for the shear laminations.

You know they sell RC engines for boats right? I bult a deep-V design hull back in my teens and hand a little inboard gas engine that made it move pretty quick.

Just sayin...
