Oh man! My mind is slipping. I've had several posts in this thread and I STILL completely forgot about this topic. So here is a bump to keep it alive. Since it is coming up way before G5, maybe we should give it some priority as far as locking in the location and date. Of course, Table Rock Lake is pretty much a given but tell us what marina, state park or whatever.

Table Rock WHERE?
Google Table rock and they are all over the U.S.
Which one are we discussing?

Dave, where's the Geo. pin map of our Forum contributors?
Where are we all from sorta centrally located?
We had that once before, I'd seen it. It might help with this location business.

My back yard's already reserved for infestations of another kind.

Are you talking about the pin map that Bill Edmundson had at G4?

If so, I think Bill Edmundson has it. But I'm not sure. To be sure, I'd ask Bill Edmundson.

Thanks Bill, That map was pretty informative too.

Dave somebody did the one I'm talking about shortly before the G-3 at Guntersville.
I remember being a little shocked that we had so few members in the middle of the Windy states.
Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa area.

Ok, we are looking at Table Rock Lake, Branson, MO the week before Memorial Day 2011.

The event will be held at Rock Lane Resort and Marina. This is the common point for many of the boat gatherings on the lake

As condos and hotel rooms (quoted at $50 per night), pavilion, restaurant on site, lounge on site, marina with fuel , guest slips, launch ramp next to marina, quiet cove, picnic zone, large parking for boats and trailers,

I would like to do this before Memorial Day. Memorial Day marks the official opening of tourist season in Branson and the lake becomes a zoo.

We have 84 miles of lake length, 4 main rivers to check out and 800 miles of shoreline. Most every major type of fish found in fresh water is found on this lake somewhere, The tailwater to the dam is considered one of the best trophy trout spots in America. Bass fishing tournaments on the main lake almost weekly year round

More to come later.

I like $50/night better than the $100!
More cabins available closer too.
Three singles to a Cabin, nobody sleeping on the floor is good too.

I'll make this one. Hopefully with a brand new Zip in tow.

We should try to make a commitment ASAP so we can be sure of accommodations and boat slips.
