Ok, guys ( and gals)

I just came in from an all day workshop on boat restoration. These things are very informative and provide information that is also helpful to us in our builds

Ok, the word is out about our Spring Fling. There are several 100 folks in very few hour driving distance from Table Rock that love this "hobby" of "woodies"

There will be some coming to see us. Believe me, we have as much to share about building as the restorers have to share with us. And the community is great.

There is a local chapter of the ACBS meeting on Table Rock at the same resort we are using in mid June. We will have some attending out Spring Fling.

So now is the time to show off your skills and rub shoulders with the neighbors who are good folk also.

Ohhhh, guys and gals - we DO have skills. Believe me!!

Just reserved our room at the Spring Fling. We will be arriving mid afternoon on Saturday and departing mid day on Sunday. Since we won't have the boat done in time we decided to combine stopping at the Fling and a visit to my mom's in Arkansas along with a treck to NM and CO to visit other relatives. We do hope to have boat in tow for the G5 and the 2012 Spring Fling. Should be great to see many of you again. :D

I'd sure love to have a ride in your boat!! I will certainly reciprocate at G5, barring any further delays.

Dave, My wife and I will probably come; however, just for a day. We've never been to Branson and were thinking we'd stay in the Branson area and then just come out and see the people and boats at the Spring Fling on Saturday. I would not be bringing a boat, as I've sold my boat and am presently boatless. I really like the idea of a spring gathering and hope it gathers some momentum. In any event, thanks for your work on this.

Well, it looks like we have 3 boats now (provided someone we all "like" gets his done  ). Several folk have stated that plan on coming in on Saturday.

I wanted to do a couple of cruises.

Friday - a cruise up the lake about 10 miles to Kimberling City. We can choose to have dinner at Ahoy's on the water and come back or cook up dinner when we get back. We have the pavilion to use.

Saturday - a cruise over to Big Cedar Lodge (8 miles across the lake) and brunch at Devil's Pool. Then cruise back for an afternoon of the typical stuff we all like to do.

Saturday evening, we will cook at the Pavilion.

So, I am still looking for attendees. I know we have a bunch of folk in the Midwest that have not spoken up yet.
